So just getting to this location was where all the adventure occured. We loaded into a friends 4X4 truck and held on as we descended a 10% incline, passed through giant mud puddles, crossed a river flowing into the ocean. At the bottom was a black sand beach, very was dynamic against the green cliffs and white surf. A fresh river flowed into the ocean at this point and waterfalls descended the steep green cliffs for hundreds of feet plumeting into the ocean. The Ascent was even more terrifying.
