We had a lot of fun walking around the packed Hogle Zoo the perfect spring day the day before mothers day. We saw every animal and the kids survived - My friends from childhood brought their three girls and soaked up every minute of it. It was Mommy and Me day so we got free ice cream and a 10 minute back massage - We loved all the new zoo improvements like the carrasole, the chinese restaurant, and more. The highlight was the two giant mateing turtles that were loudly hawing all the while.
