Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

It was magnificent. The lights, the nativities all over the place, and walking up to see the Christus and immediately feeling a warm reverence envelop our rambuncious group. My favorite was the all white nativity in the center of the reflecting pool. How fitting, that he should be suspended above water, for he is the living water, he walked on water, and as we drink from him we shall be filled. The spires of the temple, his house on earth, reflecting on the water around him in infancy reminds me of the gift he has given to us to be together as Families Forever. We are not left alone to the precepts of the world but are guided along by kind and watchful heavenly and earthly Shepard's. It fills my soul with peace and gratitude.
