JOY IN THE JOURNEY

D loves his Christmas Geo Trax set he got for Christmas - usually after about a day of playing he will destroy my 1 hour creation. That's about how i played with my Barbies growing up. Decorating the doll house just to destroy it with an earthshake. Interesting how children play - they usually enjoy creating more than playing with their creation - It is the journey. It reminds me of a talk I heard of one of the LDS apostles who as a child spent all summer making a tree house and upon completion he and his brother sat in it for about 15 minutes and never returned again. The Journey is the thing.
